1 Overview

WatermarkIt does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or images. All processing happens entirely on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how the WatermarkIt iOS application ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2 Data Collection and Usage

Our Absolute Commitment: We never access, upload, transmit, or store your photos under any circumstances. All image processing is performed entirely locally on your device.

At present, the App does not collect personal identification information (such as your name or email address). If we introduce features like user accounts, subscriptions, or basic usage analytics/diagnostic reporting in the future, your photos will still remain 100% private and will never be accessed, uploaded, or stored by us.

3 How the App Works

WatermarkIt is a fully offline, on-device application. Here is exactly what happens when you use it:

4 Photo Library Permissions

The App requests the following iOS permissions:

These permissions are only requested at the moment you attempt to use the relevant feature — never automatically on launch. You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

5 Local Data Storage

The App stores the following data only on your device:

This data never leaves your device. It is stored in the App's local container and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.

6 Third-Party Services

The App does not share your data with third-party advertising networks. We may use verified third-party SDKs or service providers for app analytics, crash reporting, or subscription management. Any such services are integrated strictly to support the app's functionality and improve user experience.

7 Children's Privacy

WatermarkIt is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly address it.

8 Data Security

Because WatermarkIt does not transmit any data, there is no data in transit to secure. All data stored locally (your templates) is subject to iOS's built-in device encryption, which is enabled whenever you use a device passcode.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.

10 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data under local regulations (such as GDPR or CCPA). Since the majority of your data (like templates and photos) is stored locally, you can manage it directly by modifying or deleting items inside the App, or by uninstalling the App.
